Connect, engage, achieve

University can be challenging, and no one understands what it's like to be a student better than a student. Whether your concerns are about academic or everyday issues, there are students who can help you.

Experienced Deakin students have been trained to help, so if you have any questions or concerns about anything related to being a student here, you can find a student to help.

Faculty Peer Mentors provide tips and tricks to assist you with your study:

Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) group study for specific units

Peer Tutors one-on-one help for specific units

Students Helping Students Drop-in Station get help with writing, study skills or any study issues

Student Rovers IT and library help

Meet other students/socialise

DUSA's clubs and societies are a great way to get involved and make friends with other students

Engage meet other international students

Faculty clubs and societies provide a variety of opportunities for students to get involved and enrich your study experience

ISS-Connect meet other international students

Help other students by becoming a student mentor/leader

DUSA Red Shirts assist with Student Association activities, events, campaigns, sport, etc.

Orientation Hosts assist new students to make a smooth start at Deakin
