'If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?'

Albert Einstein

In today's information rich environment it is easy to find yourself getting off topic when searching on the web. There are lots of pathways to find information and it's often difficult to understand what works best for each situation, and to judge what sources are reliable to use in your assignments. To succeed at university, you will need to use quality information sources to support you in writing your assignments.

The library has a Getting Started tutorial that will familiarise you with:

  • the library facilities
  • finding sources for your assignments
  • other helpful resources such as the Digital Literacy tutorials and Library Resource Guides

Work through the Getting Started  information from the library.
