Second Call for Nominations - Professor category
At the close of nominations at 5pm 30 November 2012, no nominations had been received for the following vacant position:
- Professor in the School of Health and Social Development
- Professor in the School of Medicine
- Professor in the School of Psychology
A second call for nominations for these positions is now being made. Nomination forms and information regarding these positions are available at: Second call for Nominations form (pdf file - 105kB).
GENERAL INFORMATION
Term of Office
The term of office will be from 1 January, 2013 to 31 December, 2014 for a term of 2 years.
Eligibility
The electorate comprises those members of the Faculty of Health Faculty professorial staff whose appointments are both 0.5 fraction or more and of twelve months duration or more
Lodgement
To lodge a nomination, the duly completed form must be received by the Returning Officer – Faculty of Health Faculty Board Elections, Building he, 3.018, Melbourne Burwood Campus by no later than 5 pm 19 December, 2012. The form is to be emailed to alison.pearce@deakin.edu.au and the original forwarded on the same day.
Nominations must be made on the prescribed form which must be returned to the Returning Officer.
Personal Details
Nominees must forward with their nomination form a brief (no more than 100 words) personal statement for publication. This should be a factual statement of qualifications and experience relevant to the position. The Returning Officer reserves the right to edit personal statements.
Conduct of Poll
In the event of there being more nominations than there are vacancies, a poll will be conducted electronically. Due notice of the poll will be given. Voting papers and envelopes will not be distributed manually.
Second Call for Nominations - Academic staff member category
At the close of nominations at 5pm 30 November 2012, one nomination had been received for the following vacant position:
- A minimum of two, but not more than four Academic Staff members (professor or non professor) from the School of Health and Social Development in the Faculty of Health.
