Ian Alford

Ian joined the Facilities Services Team in January 1992 as a Maintenance Manager (Geelong), after gaining qualifications with the Master Builders Association (Victoria).

Ian has held his current position of Manager, Asset Maintenance & Renewal for twelve years, managing a diverse group of trade, professional and administrative staff who are responsible for all aspects of contracts and facilities management across the University’s four campuses. He is a registered building practitioner with the Building Control Commission and a member of the Master Builders Association.

Ian has also completed the MMBS/Ashridge Leadership Program and Australian Graduate School of Management’s Emotional Intelligence and Leadership program.
