Leadership programs for academic staff

  • Staff Partnership Program (SPP)
    An innovative program that aims to recognise, develop and support the contribution that Deakin University’s academic leaders make to University and community life.

  • Academic Women Aspiring to Leadership
    Aims to identify and strengthen the leadership capacity of women at Levels A - C and help them to positively contribute to the mission and fundamental values of the university, whilst providing a collegial support network.

  • Mentoring Partnership Program
    Facilitates partnerships between mentors and mentees for a fixed period of time for the purpose of providing guidance and direction primarily to support the mentee's career development, performance and personal growth

  • Think Tanks and Mini Tanks
    Are hosted by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor in partnership with the Human Resources Services Division and are bi-annual cross-University events, at which senior University leaders meet to share issues and discuss matters of strategic importance.
