Think Tanks and Mini Tanks

Think Tanks are hosted by the Office of the Vice-Chancellor in partnership with the Human Resources Division and are annual cross-University events, at which senior University leaders meet to share issues and discuss matters of strategic importance.

Think Tank participants are drawn from across the University (by invitation) and work with 'Thinking Partners' who offer support for the achievement of Deakin University's strategic goals by acting in advisory roles and "thinking in partnership" with Deakin leaders.

Think Tanks held have focussed on:

• Delivering Effective Partnerships
• Partnering for Professional Service Delivery
• Rural and Regional Engagement
• Working together to support Excellence in Teaching and in Research

Small groups of Think Tank participants may also work together in Mini-Tanks, uniting to make progress towards the resolution of leadership issues which were discussed at previous Think Tank events.
