GIFT City scholarships and bursaries

Accelerator Bursary
We are offering new students who will commence their studies with us in July 2026 a 20% bursary on their course tuition fees. This bursary reflects Deakin University's continued belief in supporting talent and fostering a diverse, motivated, and high-achieving student community. We are confident that this will drive positive outcomes and maximise the value of your educational investment
Eligibility for the Accelerator Bursary
- All new commencing students who will begin their studies with us in July 2026 at the GIFT City Campus.
- You can only hold one bursary, grant or scholarship at a time. If you are a recipient of the 25% Merit scholarship or any other Deakin bursary, grant or scholarship, you are not eligible for the Accelerator Bursary.
25% Merit Scholarship
In line with Deakin’s commitment to academic excellence, this merit-based scholarship is for outstanding students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance in their previous studies.
The 2026 Deakin GIFT City Merit Scholarship is open to high-achieving students from both the Master of Business Analytics and Master of Cyber Security (Professional) programs.
Selection is based on academic excellence, leadership potential, extracurricular achievements, recognised certifications and performance in an interview.
