Develop legal expertise and psychological insight to understand human behaviour and justice systems with Deakin's new Bachelor of Laws/Bachelor of Psychological Science. This powerful dual qualification prepares you to practise law with a pathway to further study for registration as a psychologist. This course is available for Trimester 1 2026 applications.

Deakin Law School operates the Deakin Law Clinic, a community legal service offering free legal advice. You’ll have the opportunity to assist in one of six practice groups, which cover: civil and commercial law, family law, employment law, criminal law, wills and estates, and policy advocacy.

Deakin Law School turned 30 in 2022

In 2022, Deakin Law School celebrated 30 years since its inception in 1992. In that time, the school has become an integral part of Deakin and our course offering has grown to be one of the best in Victoria. We’ve captured stories to celebrate, talking to alumni, academics and more reflecting on the successes of the school over the years.
