Apply to study nursing at Deakin University Warrnambool Campus

This form is for current students and graduates from the last five years of the Diploma of Nursing at South West TAFE who are applying to study the Bachelor of Nursing at Deakin University (Warrnambool Campus) in Trimester 1 2027.

Applications for other courses and campus locations are to be submitted through VTAC (Trimester 1) – including all combined degrees in nursing.

Deakin will open for direct applications from South West TAFE Diploma of Nursing students from 31 July 2026 and will close for applications at 5pm on 13 January 2027.
An email receipt to confirm submission will be sent to applicants shortly after.
Applications will be reviewed and will be notified of the outcome after applications close on 13 January 2027.
If successful, you will be sent a Letter of Offer for study with Deakin via the email address you submitted with your application.
All applicants offered a place will then be contacted for orientation prior to commencing the Bachelor of Nursing (Warrnambool Campus).

When completing the application, please complete and upload a copy of the Deakin English language proficiency self-declaration form and your NMBA/APHRA registration. This is a compulsory requirement for all Bachelor of Nursing applicants to be eligible to be considered for an offer for study in this course.
