Content

This unit introduces students to the field of branded environments, focusing on the role of experiential communication design in shaping how people navigate, interpret, and engage with physical and cultural spaces. Emphasis is placed on the development and application of iconography, wayfinding systems, and environmental graphics, considering their historical evolution and relevance within contemporary visual communication practices. Through research-led inquiry, students will critically examine how design mediates experience in commercial and public contexts, responding to real-world challenges with innovative strategies and conceptually grounded solutions.
