A few words from our Chief Advancement Officer
As the Chief Advancement Officer here at Deakin, I couldn’t be more excited about what lies ahead, especially with the launch of our ‘Together’ campaign at the end of 2025. I’ve been asked to share why working in Advancement at Deakin is so rewarding – and honestly, there’s a lot I could say!
I will start by talking about our local and global impact, our aspirational students, brilliant researchers and our inspiring alumni who are making waves around the world. But what truly sets us apart is the culture we are building, a culture of philanthropy and engagement that’s deeply rooted in purpose and led from the top.
If you’re passionate about making a difference, whether through giving, advocacy or connection, you’ll feel right at home here.
We’re investing in our people, and that means you’ll be supported to grow both professionally and personally. It’s an exciting time to join us as we expand our reach and deepen our impact.

Campaign and Operations
Do you have experience in HR, IT, finance or project management? Are you looking to use your skills to make a meaningful difference in the community? The Campaign and Operations team supports Advancement’s strategic priorities and plays a key role in delivering Deakin’s Together campaign. Through data, insights, systems and planning, the team enables philanthropic growth, strengthens alumni engagement and leads projects, reporting and continuous improvement. By connecting people, ideas and resources, Campaign and Operations helps create lasting impact for Deakin and the communities we serve.
We have a beautiful culture in Deakin Advancement, where kindness and collaboration are prioritised. I think it’s because of the significance we place on being good human beings – and they happen to be brilliant and hard-working too!
