iDeaL is a free online tool which you can use to find out which English language and communication skills, programs and services at Deakin are most relevant and appropriate to your needs.
It is recommended that all new students, including postgraduate level and research students, complete iDeaL in their first week of study, regardless of their language background, school results or entry qualifications.
- Note: if you are a commencing undergraduate student in the Faculty of Business and Law, you will be required to complete iDeaL as part of a unit, MCA010.
