Google Scholar

Set your preferences so Google Scholar recognises that you are affiliated with Deakin University Library. Under the settings tab, select Library links and ensure Deakin University Library - FIND IT@DEAKIN is selected then saved. Refer to Google Scholar settings for help setting up access to Deakin content.

Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature and research. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites.

Licence and access information

When accessing or referencing electronic resources, users should check the individual web site which may have terms and conditions/permissions specific to the use of that resource. If there are no terms of use/permissions then users must comply with Australian Copyright law and, in some cases, the copyright laws of other countries.

When accessing electronic resources, please ensure that you carefully read the publisher's privacy policy and information collection statement. Resources which require you to log in or, enable content sharing, may collect and store your data in jurisdictions outside of Victoria.
