Meet the Head of the School of Education
Professor Damian Blake has extensive experience in research and program development across a range of education fields, including applied learning, initial teacher education, higher education and professional and vocational education. He commenced as Deakin’s Head of the School of Education in November 2019, having previously served as Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) in the Faculty of Arts and Education.
We are recognised as leaders in primary and secondary teacher education, early childhood educator preparation, educational leadership and adult vocational and applied learning education.
