Places in English courses are limited so please apply early.

Remember that your acceptance into a DUELI course is subject to the results of your Placement Test, which will also determine which course and what level of study are best suited to you.

If you are an international student, your application to study with DUELI can be submitted directly to Deakin University through StudyLink Connect.

What happens after you apply?

We will contact you to let you know if your application has been accepted. If successful, you will receive a Letter of Offer.

Fee payment

Once you receive a Letter of Offer, you will need to pay the following fees:

  • Enrolment and orientation fee: $250
  • Course tuition fees:
    • 2022 Tuition fee: A$445 per week
    • 2023 Tuition fee: A$465 per week
  • Overseas Student Health Cover
  • Accommodation placement fee, if applicable.

Fees must be paid in full before you commencing your course. If you have received a joint offer to study an award course on completing your DUELI studies, we will advise you what fees you will need to pay, and when.

Apply for a student visa

Once we have received payment of your course fees, we will send you an electronic confirmation of enrolment (COE). This will enable you to apply for a student visa to study in Australia. You will then receive a Notification of Arrival form, which must be returned to us at least 10 days before you arrive in Australia.

On the first day of your program, your English language skills will be assessed to determine the course that best suits your skills and study plans.
