TEDx Deakin Uni Melbourne 2026

Seven inspirational speakers from the Deakin community will take to the TEDx stage with talk topics ranging from forensic entomology to low-orbit space ballistics and more. Settle in for an afternoon of bold ideas, curated talks and moments of entertainment woven throughout. Light refreshments and canapés will be served.

This year's theme, The Science of Possibility: Ideas that move us, explores how curiosity, creativity and discovery open new horizons across science, technology, society and everyday life. Research tells us 'what is' – possibility lets us imagine 'what could be’.

We're bringing it to life with seven new speakers, a brand-new venue and a day that's bigger, bolder and better than ever.
