Welcome to the Deakin University - E-election web-site.
I have been in the Faculty for 17 years in administrative roles including School Executive Officer, Senior Project Officer, Faculty Manager - Governance and Curriculum Group and as the Deputy Faculty General Manager. In my current position I am involved in activities which are of interest to the Board where I feel I can make a valuable contribution, including, the Faculty’s governance protocols, curriculum and academic programs, teaching and learning, quality assurance, staff and student support, and marketing. I have developed strong working relationships with general staff colleagues and welcome the opportunity to continue representing them on the Faculty Board.
I have worked within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment in various roles for over 20 years. My experience encompasses general office support, editorial assistance for academic course materials, course advising, student and staff support coordination and currently as School Manager (Administrative and Technical Services) for the School of Architecture and Built Environment.
I have worked in the former Schools of Architecture and Building, Engineering and Technology and the Faculty Student and Staff Support Group.
I completed a Bachelor of Arts at Deakin University (History and Sociology majors), Diploma of Management and Certificate III in Business Administration.
