There are plenty of accommodation options for international students, whether you'd like to live on campus or off. We can help you find somewhere to live, and somewhere to stay when you first arrive.

Living on campus

We have comfortable accommodation for students at each of our campuses. Living on campus is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Deakin experience with the benefit of having your home just around the corner from classes and campus facilities.

Finding a home off campus

Living off campus is a great option for international students. Whether you're on your own or with your friends, it's an excellent way to get to know your local community.

It's best to organise your long-term accommodation once you arrive in Australia. Our off-campus housing service can help you get set up.

Where to stay when you first arrive

We recommend organising your accommodation before you first arrive in Australia. Remember you can arrange to view a property ahead of time, before you sign a lease or pay for rent or your bond.

It can take time finding somewhere perfect to live, but the university provides services such as HouseMe to help you with the process.
