Entry requirements

To study at Deakin you first need to meet the academic, language and visa requirements. If you don't meet some of the conditions, we can help you find a pathway to your course.

Academic requirements

Each degree and study area has its own academic entry requirements based on your previous secondary school and university results.

English requirements

You will need to prove that you meet our English language requirements. Learn about what evidence you can provide to demonstrate this.

Under 18 years old?

If you are under 18 years of age you will need to have adequate welfare arrangements in place before being granted a visa.

Applications are now open. You can apply to study at Deakin by following our step-by-step instructions. If you are interested in a bachelor degree or a diploma, apply for an undergraduate course. A postgraduate course is either a masters degree or a PhD.
