Minimum data requirements must be met on RGMS by the relevant deadline. Applications that miss this deadline will not be able to submit an application to the NHMRC.

Overview

The Centres of Research Excellence (CRE) Scheme provides support for teams of researchers to pursue collaborative research and develop capacity in clinical, population health and health services research.

Funding will support five streams:

  • CRE in Clinical Research; 
  • CRE in Health Services Research;
  • CRE in Population Health Research;
  • CRE in Infectious Disease Emergency Response; and
  • CRE in Indigenous Research Capacity Building.

How to apply

  1. Submit a Notice of Intention to Submit (NOIS) using the NOIS form by email to Deakin Research Grants
  2. Liaise with your faculty/institute.
  3. Read the Funding Rules and Instructions to Applicants.
  4. Commence your online application on RGMS.
  5. Work with your case manager.
  6. Organise relevant certification forms.
