Opening hours
The Centre provides day care from 8 am - 6 pm, Monday to Friday, for children up to six years of age. Care is offered on a full time, part time or occasional care basis.
Services
The Deakin and Community Child Care Centre proudly provides a range of creative and innovative programs which are planned and developed to give all children the opportunity to experience, explore, participate, feel, discover and enjoy their daily activities. These experiences promote freedom of choice, whilst encouraging children’s increasing independence and self-esteem.
The staff at the Centre recognise the importance of ensuring the environment is one where security, trust and warmth can develop. The staff actively work towards generating a caring environment, where children are valued for their individual skills, personalities and sense of fun.
The beautifully landscaped gardens and spacious grass areas, extensive playground equipment, large sand play areas and the shade cloths ensure the children have a safe yet challenging outdoor environment
