What are entry requirements?
Every domestic and international course has general and specific entry requirements. Requirements can include prerequisites (i.e. completion of certain units in Year 12), filling out a form, providing additional documentation, passing a written test, showing proof of past work experience or attending an interview or audition. Read the description for your desired course to understand these requirements.
English language requirements

Computing, connectivity and capability requirements
At Deakin, we make extensive use of technology in our teaching. To study at Deakin, you're required to have:

- the capability to use Deakin's online learning environments.
When do applications and courses open?
We have a number of different study periods. Most courses are offered through our trimester study system. With three trimesters, the next intake is never far away.
Not all courses are open at each application intake, but generally applications are open during these periods.
There are some courses that have different application periods.
Here you can find when the teaching starts and finishes for each study period.
