Modern communicators must learn to collaborate with both humans and AI in an ever changing media environment. This unit enables students to explore, examine, and experience contemporary social media content creation in relation to diverse contexts through scenario-based learning that immerses students in the challenges and complexities of contemporary digital media. A critical and creative approach to learning with/about online platforms is facilitated by hands-on media-making activities, collaborating with artificial intelligence, and engaging audiences through a variety of social and digital media artefacts.
