Our work-integrated learning (WIL) programs bring students into your organisation to take part in internships, consulting programs and business development clinics. Our students come from a range of business and law courses and our programs suit many types of organisations and business needs.
The students turned up with a nine-page report that was a full-blown analysis of one of our business model and profit drivers. I was really impressed.

If you’re an alum, engaging with our students through our student societies is a great way to pass on the benefits of your professional experience. For employers, we can facilitate events for students to connect with you. For example, our long-standing Deakin Bowater Business Challenge offers a way to tap into fresh solutions as competing teams of students tackle your business issue.
These talented students have researched and tested potential solutions that will provide us with the insight we need to accommodate more electric vehicles on our network.

Our partnerships span a range of areas across Deakin Business School and Deakin Law School, with the opportunity to create customised, business-focused partnerships and programs.
Researchers at Deakin Business School partnered with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) – a global leader in IT services and consulting – to develop the ‘State of Data and Analytics in Australian Organisations’ report, laying out the level of data maturity in Australian businesses and how it impacts business effectiveness.
We can deliver custom learning programs that tailor business education to the needs of your organisation. In partnership with Coles, we have developed a unique 'mini-MBA' in Strategic Category Management, a program focused on retail-specific, technical skills and accounts for their staff.
Working with the Recruitment Consulting and Staffing Association we have launched a Graduate Certificate of Recruitment and Talent Acquisition to address workforce needs and skill development opportunities. The first graduates of the program are already making a difference for their organisations.
