Postgraduate
Postgraduate (further study)
A postgraduate qualification can be undertaken by students who have already completed an undergraduate degree or possess significant, demonstrable work experience. Postgraduate courses include graduate certificates, graduate diplomas, masters and PhDs, as well as specialist programs for industry professionals.
Choosing the right degree
For Deakin's postgraduate information technology degrees, we offer a standard and professional stream. The degree you choose will depend on your previous study experience. The professional stream is ideal for those with a computing background who are looking to advance in the industry and provides the opportunity to undertake a period of industry-based learning or a research project. The standard stream is for those without a computing background who are looking to enter the industry.
I believe that with the skills and experience gained from Deakin, my career prospects are positive and promising. I am excited to embrace and develop further in IT and believe that I can use the skills I gained with technology to help people.
