Aim:
This minor will complement any major and enhance employability by equipping students with strong analytical and quantitative skills to understand and interpret economic data in real-world contexts. It provides a practical foundation in the use of economic models, statistical tools, and data-driven techniques to evaluate and forecast market dynamics, assess the effectiveness of monetary and fiscal policies, and analyse decision-making by individuals and firms. By integrating economic theory with quantitative methods, the minor prepares students to critically assess economic issues and contribute to evidence-based decision-making in business, government, and research settings. The minor offers flexibility, allowing students to tailor their studies toward sub-fields of interest while deepening their expertise in economic analytics.
