When are the Deakin Campus Tours?
During the April school holidays each year, you can join both general campus tours and accommodation tours across our four campuses. Details for the 2027 tours will be available early next year.

Deakin Campus Tours are ideal for future students, parents, guardians and caregivers who want to explore the various Deakin campuses and student accommodation. They’re also a great way to learn about courses and study options before applying.
Deakin Campus Tours provide student-led guided visits and personalised course advice at the course information expo. Deakin Open Day, on the other hand, is a larger event with course presentations, activities and a full university experience in a single day. Attending both can give you a complete picture and help you make an informed decision about studying at Deakin.
Yes. You’ll have the chance to engage with current students and get genuine insights into what day-to-day uni life looks like, as you explore our campuses.
Yes, we recommend registering for a campus tour so we can plan the best possible experience for visitors on the day. However, if you haven’t registered, you’re still welcome to come along and join a tour on the day.
Registration for the next tours will open in early 2027.
Yes. Deakin’s guided campus tours during the April school holidays are free to attend. Open Day is also free and we look forward to seeing you in August.
General campus tours depart every 30 minutes, and accommodation tours every 90 minutes, with tours running for up to 90 minutes. Before or after your tour, you can attend the course information expo to get clear answers about courses, pathways and entry options.
