Mary MacKillop Today First Nations Tertiary Scholarship

Mary MacKillop believed in the power of education to transform lives, and her legacy lives on in this offering. This scholarship offers cash payments and has a total value of $17,500 that will be paid over three or four years, depending on your course duration.

Indigenous Student Success Program

This Commonwealth funding reflects the significant benefit of an education environment that acknowledges, respects and embraces Indigenous peoples’ cultures, languages, traditions and spirituality. This scholarship offers cash payments of up to $4000 over one year.

Dr (Aunty) Mary Atkinson Scholarships

This scholarship is awarded to one top performing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander nursing student and one education student studying with NIKERI Institute. It offers payment of all student contributions (tuition fees) and is available for the normal duration of the course.

First Nations Graduate Research Scholarship

This competitive scholarship supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander graduate researchers to lead meaningful research. It offers a tax-free stipend of $53,608 per annum (2026 rate) and a $15,000 Research Bursary for the duration of the candidature.
