Fairbrother Foundation Construction Management Scholarship
Applications open Wednesday 10 June 2026 and closes 5pm Wednesday 8 July 2026.
The Fairbrother Foundation Construction Management Scholarship, provides financial support to passionate students pursuing studies in construction management at Deakin University.
Value
- Cash payments of up to $7,500 per year. Total scholarship value of $30,000 or $37,500 depending on the normal course duration.
Duration
- This scholarship is awarded for 3 or 4 years, depending on the normal full-time duration of your course.
Am I eligible?
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be:
- a domestic student
- commencing one of the following bachelor degrees at Deakin Unversity in Trimester 2, 2026:
- Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) (S346)
- Bachelor of Design (Architecture)/Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) (D364)
- Bachelor of Construction Management (Honours) (S346)
- enrolled full-time, unless there are individual circumstances preventing full-time study
- experiencing an area of hardship affecting your studies.
Maintaining this scholarship
To retain this scholarship, you'll need to:
- provide an introductory statement about your goals for study and what it means to receive the scholarship
- provide annual impact statement for the duration of the scholarship
- submit a completion statement at the end of your degree.
About the scholarship donor
The Fairbrother Foundation was established in 2007 as the vehicle through which the Fairbrother business and family could give back and support local community. The Fairbrother Foundation’s core purposes are to facilitate access to quality education, support initiatives that strive for improved health and wellbeing, support charities that connect with our employees and communities they engage with, and where possible support charities making a positive difference in the construction industry.

Numbers of this scholarship are limited; not all eligible applicants will receive one. If you're successful, you'll be notified via email; usually within four weeks of the application closing date. Unsuccessful applicants will not be contacted.
Supporting documents
As part of the application process you're required to upload supporting documentation by the various round closing dates listed above.
Make sure you choose the correct document type when you upload your documents – it will make a difference. If your documents are uploaded into the incorrect type they will not be considered when assessing your application. Remember, it's quality, not quantity, you need to provide.
Aim to provide documents that are current, relevant and concise.

- evidence of your medical condition (if applicable).
