Content
In this research unit, students commence work on their research project through individual study and supervision. This unit is the first of three creative practice research units. Students will complete two or three creative research units depending on the focus of the project which will be negotiated with the supervisor. This unit will focus on individual creative/critical practice designed to develop ongoing research. The ability to self-critique will continue the circuit of production, self-reflection, and the stimulation of further ideas towards the completion of the major Honours project.

Hurdle requirements
To be eligible to obtain a pass in this unit, students must achieve an overall mark of at least 50% in assessment task 1, Symposium Presentation to evidence a minimum proficiency in the aligned discipline learning outcomes included in this unit.
