Content

This unit introduces students to the history of screen culture and production. It highlights the interests that shape the ways we interpret and understand our shared cinematic past today. Topics explored include early cinema, film genres, feminist film, queer cinema, experimental film and global film movements. We use influential and important films to explore these topics.
