Content
This unit combines the practice of attentive reading with creative writing. Students are exposed to a wide range of literary texts, as well as to a suite of crucial skills and craft elements of creative writing. Participants will learn to sketch with words and to use memory and place as structuring frameworks to conceive and compose small writing projects. Students will engage in critical thinking and reflection about their work and that of their peers. They will learn how to plan, edit and compose work to a professional standard, based on tested creative techniques.
