Content
This unit introduces students to the production of creative writing for young people. Students will engage with a variety of genres and narrative approaches, through the study of creative and critical texts relevant to children's and young adult literature.
Students undertaking this unit will learn to draft and pitch their work, identifying and applying key concepts around genre, audience and narration. This knowledge will be showcased in a final assessment: a substantial piece of creative writing for young
people.
