Content
This unit will equip students with digital literacy skills for tertiary study, the workplace and global citizenship. Students will learn how to find, evaluate, use and orally disseminate digital information. Skills covered include using effective search strategies to find relevant academic articles in online databases, presenting numerical data in table and graph forms, and produce digital resources that integrate material in a variety of formats. Students will also be familiarised with the principles for responsible online communication and online activity. Students will develop skills to present orally and work in small groups in seminars.

Hurdle requirements
To be eligible to obtain a pass in this unit, students must achieve an overall mark of at least 50% in assessment task 2, Report and Live Discussion to evidence a minimum proficiency in the aligned discipline learning outcomes included in this unit.
