Content
In this unit, students will further develop their professional practice, with a focus on planning for groups and transitions for children aged 3-5 years. In collaboration with their Professional Experience Placement mentor, students will demonstrate proficiency in applying all elements of the planning cycle, utilising key documents for planning for learning outcomes, and critically reflecting on practice. Key focus areas for the unit include consideration of Indigenous knowledges, histories and perspectives, application agency and professionalism to build collegial relationships and seek feedback, and progression toward the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers for Graduate Teachers as evidenced in the Professional Experience Portfolio.
