Content
This unit provides students with opportunities to engage with and build knowledge and skills in the four discipline areas in the Humanities: History, Geography, Civics & Citizenship and Economics and Business. Students will explore the fundamental themes and 'big' questions related to primary Humanities education. The unit draws directly on the Victorian (v2) and Australian (v9) curricula and is underpinned by inquiry learning.
The key activities, revolve around small and large group discussions and opportunities for individual self-inquiry and reflection to guide your learning. Students will engage with
diversity in the classroom, and also at a community and global level to incorporate the breadth of ideas and attitudes that influence and impact Humanities teaching and learning.
