| Prerequisite: | Students enrolled in H704 must have passed 6 of the following units: HSH717, HSH719, HSH744, HSH746, HSH761, HSH762, HSH764, MPE781. Students enrolled in H706 must have passed all 6 units in the following units: HSO709, HSO710, HSO711, HSO712, HSO713, HSO715 and have a minimum course WAM of 60. Students enrolled in H709 must have passed a unit in HSH725, HSH753 and must have passed 5 of the following units: HDS730, HDS731, HDS732, HDS733, HDS734 and have a minimum course WAM of 60. Content
This unit enables students to develop their knowledge and skills in conducting research. The unit must be studied in conjunction with HSH732 Minor Research Project B. HSH731 is normally completed prior to HSH732 but students can enrol in both units concurrently with the approval of their supervisor. Students enrolled in the unit will plan an conduct research including; conducting a brief literature review, developing a research question, choosing methods to answer the research question, collecting and analysing data and a discussion of the results. This work undertaken across HSH731 and HSH732 will make a significant contribution to a research-based project in a relevant field of study.
