By applying the Conceptual Framework and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/AASB), students develop the technical skills to record business transactions and prepare financial statements with related disclosures. Beyond technical procedures, the unit emphasizes the exercise of professional judgement to solve complex reporting problems and evaluate the quality of financial information for decision-making.
