Content
This unit examines how management accounting provides critical information for organizational planning, control, and strategic decision-making. Students develop and apply technical expertise in cost-volume-profit relationships, product costing systems, activity-based costing, and budgeting. A central focus is placed on digital literacy, as students learn to identify and synthesise management accounting information from diverse sources. Through a collaborative case study analysis, students work in teams to solve business problems, justifying individual responsibilities while evaluating financial performance, relevant costs for decision-making, and contemporary approaches to performance management.
