Content

Marketers operate in an increasingly data-rich environment where the ability to extract meaningful insights is essential. This unit develops students’ capability to interpret, synthesise, and communicate insights from a wide range of information sources to support marketing decision-making. 

The unit focuses on the use and interpretation of primary and secondary data, to build an understanding of the broader business environment in which firms operate. Students will learn how to identify relevant information, distinguish signal from noise, and translate existing analyses into actionable strategic insights. 

The  unit prioritises insight generation, data visualisation, and critical interpretation of analyses outputs. By the end of the unit, students will be equipped to confidently engage with data-driven discussions and contribute meaningfully to the strategic marketing process.
