Content
Deakin Business School recognises the importance of students gaining professional identity and career management skills to enable them to apply for employment, plan their careers and participate effectively in the business environment. The unit aims to broaden students’ awareness and understanding of the career journey; how best to prepare for and manage your career. This unit will support the development of tools and actions plans, and a range of communication capabilities necessary to be successful in both your business and personal lives.
The Professional Identity and Career Development unit has been designed for Deakin’s undergraduate commerce and business programs. However, it may also be studied as an elective unit by students enrolled in other Deakin University courses where course rules allow. Please note: RPL for this unit may only be considered for students where MPB202 is a compulsory (core) unit of their course. RPL is not available for MPB202 as an elective unit.
