Content
In this unit students explore the process of developing a product that is fit-for-purpose. You will develop research, design and engineering skills through an industry-design challenge where consultation with key industry players and governance is essential for the successful development of a relevant and advanced product outcome. To assist in the design process, you will develop and apply modelling and simulation skills related to mechanical engineering. The mix of design, theoretical, numerical and experimental work will provide a good foundation for a future career in the advanced Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) area.

Hurdle requirements
