Content
This advanced unit builds on prior studies in AI and data science, and professional practices in IT, to focus on the practical application of AI technologies within software systems. Rather than delving into the technical specifics of AI algorithms, this unit emphasizes the strategic considerations of incorporating AI into software solutions using low-code and no-code platforms for rapid prototyping. Students will explore how to effectively leverage pre-built AI services and tools, evaluate their suitability for various applications, manage associated risks and ethical implications, and tailor services to associated business cases. The unit encourages a holistic approach to integrating AI by addressing the challenges of utilising AI and making informed decisions about its deployment within broader software systems.
