Content

This unit provides students with practical experience in quantum programming, equipping them with the skills to design, simulate, and execute quantum circuits using industry-standard tools. Students will explore the fundamentals of quantum programming, including quantum gates, measurement, and circuit design, while gaining hands-on experience with quantum simulators. They will also examine key challenges in quantum computation, such as noise, decoherence, and error mitigation, developing an understanding of how these factors impact quantum algorithm execution. Through interactive coding exercises and simulations, students will build the foundation necessary to implement and analyse quantum algorithms in real-world contexts.
