ADRI Deputy Director and Director of the Cultural Heritage Centre for Asia and the Pacific, Professor Andrea Witcomb, has lent her knowledge and expertise to three publications this year:
She has contributed a chapter entitled: "Using immersive and interactive approaches to interpreting traumatic experiences for tourists: potentials and limitations" to Staiff, Bushell and Watson's, Heritage and Tourism: Place, encounters, engagement. Out now through Routeledge.
In Museums and Communities: Curators, Collections and Collaboration, she authors a chapter entitled: "Testimony, memory and art at the Jewish Holocaust Centre Melbourne". Available at local booksellers.
Co-authored with Professor Bill Logan, the latest issue of Critical Asian Studies features their submission: "Messages from Long Tan, Vietnam: Memorialisation, Reconciliation and Historical Justice". You can access it online.
