The Alfred Deakin Research Institute's 'Fusion' lecture series are public events that feature prominent thinkers from all around the globe presenting on current social and political issues.

Since the series' inception, we have hosted a number of key intellectuals including:

Oxford Professor of Economics, former head of research at the World Bank, advisor to the UN and British Government, and author

Chairperson of the Nobel Peace Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 2007

Lecture title: 'The role of knowledge in promoting sustainable development and tackling climate change'
