Speaking on: The Refugee Settlement Policy for Papua New Guinea and a new urbanisation policy that aims to address the negative outcomes of unmanaged internal migration within PNG.

Dame Kidu's address is a fusion lecture in two ways. Firstly, it evokes the legacy of our namesake, Alfred Deakin, who brought together both sides of politics 100 years ago, and, secondly, it crosses bridges between the sciences and humanities - with policy crucial for supporting the influx of new technology and tremendous resources wealth.
