What are entry requirements?

Every domestic and international course has general and specific entry requirements. Requirements can include prerequisites (i.e. completion of certain units in Year 12), filling out a form, providing additional documentation, passing a written test, showing proof of past work experience or attending an interview or audition. Read the description for your desired course to understand these requirements.

English language requirements

There is a minimum level of English proficiency required to study all of our courses. Generally, you can meet this requirement by demonstrating you've completed Year 12, or studied at a TAFE or university in English and in an English speaking country.

Computing, connectivity and capability requirements

At Deakin, we make extensive use of technology in our teaching. To study at Deakin, you're required to have:

  • access to a device such as a desktop computer or laptop
  • connectivity to the internet
  • the capability to use Deakin's online learning environments.
