Members of the public and the Deakin community are invited to be part of the audience for the final of the Deakin University Three Minute Thesis competition for 2015.
The event will held in Building BC, Burwood Corporate Centre Level 2, Burwood Campus on Thursday 13th August from 3.00pm to 5.00pm.
The 3MT is an exercise in developing academic and research communication skills. Higher degrees by research students have three minutes to present a compelling oration on their thesis topic and its significance in language appropriate to an intelligent but non-specialist audience.
Deakin's winner will receive $2000 and be sponsored to travel to represent Deakin in the Trans-Tasman Competition.
