The first thing an international student who comes to our School should know is that you are in an inclusive learning environment. Support which can come in many ways is available to you at all times. It can be formal, informal or both. If there is something you don't understand or there is something that is of concern to you, please feel free to ask for help from any staff or student in the school. If that person cannot help you themselves, they will be able to refer you to the right person.
The second thing is that international students are an integral part of our School community and profile. We encourage all local students to have an international outlook at all times. The idea of internationalisation at home gives local students the opportunity to develop their international outlook. It is an honour to meet and get to know an international student who has chosen to study at our School.
And finally, that the cultural backgrounds and international experiences of the staff and student population in the School is increasingly diverse. Many speak English as a first, second or third language.
International students are further encouraged to visit Students' gateway to Campus for a comprehensive list of support services available.
